My time at IBM has been amazing and it has opened my eyes to a scale and quality of business that I had never seen before.
But IBM is a huge company, saddled with the challenges all large organizations wrestle with. I was thrilled to be asked to share my experiences in smaller, high growth companies with IBM’s leadership. There are some great opportunities for IBM to embrace the approaches that high-growth companies do naturally. This presentation lists out the top ten observations I’ve made about what makes high-growth companies successful.
(later note: I was reflecting on this presentation many years later and it remains one of my all-time favorites.)
